Grove Road, Malahide, Co. Dublin, K36 XT65, Ireland
Malahide is home to a variety of stylish restaurants, characterful bars, friendly shops and is surrounded by amenities that include a stunning Marina, Malahide Castle & Gardens, a Championship Golf Course and of course the Irish Sea coastline. It is a great place for interesting routes for walking and running in Malahide. The town is serviced by local bus and rail giving you easy access to Dublin City Centre.
Hotel location is well chosen. As it is placed right next to sea costline. As Ireland is quite windy and weather is constantly changing. Stay at this hotel can be very various and depending on weather. If you are lucky enough to stay in Malahide during sunshine and warm time of year then you might find the place plesant. As comes to hotel it is common and nothing more than most of others. Big lobby gives good first impression, red carpet and wooden design gives the feeling of luxury. When getting to room you will find it clean and tidy with free coffee, kettle and TV. Smoking policy applies to every room.
Bar and restaurant in this hotel is overpriced. If you feel like having a good time and not pay more than it takes, we would recommend short walk in local village. You will get more positive emotions with less money spend.
When outside of hotel you can find small and very appealing village with small shops and atmosphere of 18th century. Bars, pubs and restaurants. As if you choose to get away from city lights you can walk down to sea shore and have a peacefull time alone during long walk. Just mind the weather is always changing.
Overall service was good. Apart that on arrival the room was not ready for guests to arrive. But staff handled situation in respectfull maner and offered some choices of ways to spend time while waiting. Recommended local sights and places to visit.
Food service was on time and food was acceptable, nothing out of ordinary.
